Leading youth radio station W!ZARD Radio Station is excited to announce a new roster of specialist DJs joining the network’s evening line-up in Summer 2021.
Saturday evenings is where the party never stops on W!ZARD Radio Station, and the new line-up proves it. Global dance producers NGHTMRE & SLANDER return to the network after an 18 month hiatus, bringing their tastemaker show and gud vibrations on-air from 9pm-10pm.
With a combined 11M Monthly Listeners on Spotify and 1.1M Instagram followers, NGHTMRE & SLANDER have become festival main stagers having charted no less than four times on the Billboard Dance Charts and providing the official remixes of hit singles by Halsey, DJ Snake, Adele and more.
The 10pm-11pm slot will be hosted by Maurice West, who progresses from W!ZARD Radio Station’s AFTR PRTY slot (where he has made monthly appearances since 2020) to his own weekly residency.
Maurice West is one of the most exciting names in dance music; the 22 year-old Dutch DJ & Producer is trailblazing with his nostalgic sounds, mixed with modern trends. Having played the Main Stage at Tomorrowland for two years in a row, and with over 40M streams on Spotify, he represents the next wave in dance music.
W!ZARD Radio Station’s long running guest mix series The W!ZARD Sessions (8pm-9pm) and Mike Williams’ weekly residency (11pm-12pm), continue on-air through the Summer.
On W!ZARD Radio Station’s after hours specialist slot AFTR PRTY (Midnight-1am on Fridays and Saturdays), global superstar DJs Snakehips and Manyfew join the rotation-roster that also includes B Jones, Sander Kleinenberg and EJ (Fridays) as well as Bakermat, Martin Jensen and Gryffin (Saturdays).
Snakehips are the chart-topping British DJ duo behind hits including “All My Friends (feat. Tinashe & Chance The Rapper)”, “Cruel (feat. ZAYN)” and “Lie For You (with Jess Glynn, feat. Davido & A Boogie wit da Hoodie)”. With over 5.5M Monthly Listeners on Spotify and over 1 Billion Global Streams – there are few electronic artists who can attest to having as big a cultural impact as Snakehips.
On a mission to deliver feel-good and dance-ready creations, Stockholm-based ManyFew have trailblazed with their distinct blend of house and disco. They have achieved millions of global streams and continue to innovate on the forefront of dance music.
The new broadcast slate is in addition to an increased output from W!ZARD Studios, the market leader in youth-focused on demand audio content, which has more than doubled its on-demand audio output in the first half of 2021, with over 40 hours of on-demand audio content every week.
