This is New Wave Sounds with Rhiannon Nevada. Every Monday, W!ZARD Radio Station's resident alt/indie expert Rhiannon Nevada drops three upcoming artists she thinks you should be keeping your eyes on. Here's what she thinks you should be listening to this week...

Neeve

Rhiannon: Neeve are a band from South Germany full of energetic indie-pop vibes. I’ve been obsessed with their music for a while. I found them on YouTube from their cover of Giant Rooks song “Watershed”. They make wild music but they stand up for what they believe in and talk about toxic masculinity and gender roles within their music, which is great to see within the industry.

Noah Sonnen

Rhiannon: When Noah Sonnen dropped “Figure It Out” it popped up on my Discover Weekly on Spotify. I couldn’t stop jamming. He takes inspiration from the alternative style from YUNGBLUD, as well as aspects of indie-pop from The 1975. He also puts his own unique twist on them both with the guitar, which is really refreshing. Not only do I love his music, he has the best hair I have ever seen. It has under 7000 streams at the moment but is going strong. There is so much more to come from him in the next year. So he is definitely one to watch.

BINA.

Rhiannon: BINA. is an artist from South London that a friend showed me. Her vocals are gorgeous and so smooth. She mixes alternative RnB beats. You can also hear a bit of jazz and neosoul coming though. I can’t wait for more from her. She deserves so much more love so please head over to her and stream stream stream.
