On Friday, 15th May 2020, we invited some of our favourite emerging artists from around the world to come on-air, sing a bit, chat a bit to help lift the blues we’re all feeling right now. It was: LIVE FROM HOME.

Happi is having a breakout moment, but don’t think he’s come from nowhere.

The London-based artist has a hit on his hands with new single “Bel-Air”, his latest single following a string of releases dating back as far as 2014’s “Be Alright”. What’s different now? Happi, real name Mark Babatunde, is signed to a major record label (Polydor) and feels like now is his time to shine.

He called into LIVE FROM HOME to speak to James Gilmore about his growth, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air turning 30 years old and the meaning behind his name.
