The awesome guys over at Nickelodeon are known for coming up with top-quality shows which we didn't know we needed in our lives, before we watched them of course. Think about it: Drake & Josh, Victorious, iCarly... even SpongeBob SquarePants. All of those shows came out of Nickelodeon, and now they're bringing out a new show which is going to be equally as legendary.
Make It Pop (Nickelodeon’s first Korean Pop-inspired show) will be bringing pop beats and style from Monday 20th July at 6.00pm on Nickelodeon.
The show follows three boarding school friends (Corki, Jodi and Sun Hi) as they balance school work and stardom after forming a K-Pop band.
Corki (played by Erika Tham) is the studios one, Jodi (played by Louriza Tronco) is the fashionista of the bunch and Sun Hi (played by rising K-Pop star Megan Lee) is the social media queen. They create a pop band called XO-IQ with the help of fellow classmate and talented DJ, Caleb (played by Dale Whibley). As the band becomes a school-wide sensation, the girls decide to compete for a place in the upcoming school musical - all while juggling music, school and crushes.
And as if this wasn't awesome enough... XO-IQ is becoming a REAL BAND. No, not just in the show, but in REAL LIFE. Every episode will feature original songs and performances - with tracks being made available to download on iTunes as well.
Memories of Big Time Rush anyone?
Don't miss new episodes of Make It Pop at 6.00pm (UK time) from 20th July only on Nickelodeon.
